Privacy Policy

1. Introduction
LivePictureAI AB (org.nr 559529-3753), Nävervägen 8, 531 74 Källby, Sweden ("LivePictureAI", "we", "our", or "us"), is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy and is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you visit our website or use our services.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, company name, and any messages you send through our contact form. We also collect certain technical data automatically, including IP addresses, browser type, and usage analytics.
The ROI calculator itself is free to use without giving us anything. If you choose to have your estimate emailed to you, we collect the email address you give us and the figures you entered, so we can send you that estimate and follow up about it.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to respond to your inquiries, improve our services, send relevant communications, and analyze website usage to enhance user experience. ROI calculator inputs are used to prepare a tailored quote and follow up with you about it; they are not used for any other purpose.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with trusted service providers who assist us in operating our website and conducting business, provided they agree to keep this information confidential.
5. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
6. Cookies and Analytics
We use Google Analytics to see how the site is used, and Google Ads to measure which campaigns lead to contact requests and to purchases of the SMPTE 2110 Toolkit (see section 7). The Google tag that provides both loads on every visit to livepicture.ai, and what it does depends on your choice.
Until you accept, and if you decline, the Google tag runs with all advertising and analytics storage denied. No Google cookies are set or read, we store no identifiers on your device, and ad click identifiers are removed from what is sent. Google still receives cookieless pings when you view a page or take certain actions, such as sending a contact request. These contain the technical information that is part of any web request (the page address, the referring page, the time, your browser and device type, and your IP address) together with your consent choice. Google may use them to measure site usage and ad effectiveness in aggregate, including to model conversions it cannot observe directly.
We rely on our legitimate interest in measuring the effectiveness of our website and advertising in aggregate for these cookieless pings. You can object at any time by contacting us at info@livepicture.ai.
If you accept, Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies are set in your browser and full measurement applies, including the purchase measurement described in section 7. Google may process data from the Google tag, with or without cookies, outside the EU/EEA, including in the United States.
You can change your mind at any time through the Cookie settings link at the bottom of the page. Clearing your browser storage for this site also resets the choice, and you will be asked again on your next visit.
7. Purchase Measurement
Google Ads also measures purchases of the SMPTE 2110 Toolkit, not only contact requests. When you arrive from an ad, the link carries an ad click identifier (gclid, gbraid or wbraid) and campaign parameters. We read the click identifier only after you accept cookies. If you then buy the Toolkit, the click identifier is passed through Stripe checkout as an order reference.
Our license server (license.livepicture.ai) stores that click identifier together with the order value, currency and time of purchase, and sends them to Google Ads so the purchase can be attributed to the campaign. If an order is refunded, we send a retraction so it is no longer counted. We do not send your name or email address to Google.
The legal basis for this processing is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through the Cookie settings link at the bottom of the page. Stored conversion data is deleted after 120 days.
When you send a contact request, book a call, request a Toolkit trial or have an ROI estimate emailed to you, we also record where your visit came from, so we know which channels bring enquiries: the campaign parameters in the link you arrived by (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content and utm_term), the domain of the website that referred you, and the page you landed on. Until you send a form, these stay in your browser for the current tab only; they are then stored with your enquiry. We rely on our legitimate interest in knowing which channels bring enquiries for this. If you have accepted cookies, the ad click identifier is included too, and the details of your first visit are kept in your browser for 30 days so that an enquiry made on a later visit is still attributed to it. Declining or withdrawing consent removes the click identifier and that remembered visit from your browser.
Your choice is recorded in a preference cookie named lp_consent, which applies across livepicture.ai and its subdomains, including license.livepicture.ai, so the license server can respect it.
Payments are processed by Stripe, which acts as merchant of record for Toolkit purchases and handles your payment and billing details under its own privacy policy.
8. SMPTE 2110 Toolkit: Usage Data
The first time you start the SMPTE 2110 Toolkit app, it asks whether you want to share usage data with us. Nothing is collected or sent unless you say yes, and you can turn it off at any time in the app's settings, which also deletes any data still waiting to be sent from your computer.
If you say yes, the app sends a report every 15 minutes with: which features and panels you used and for how long, the app version, your Windows version, the capture mode (DPDK, standard network card or test generator), the interface language, and error codes with a short error text. Each report carries a random installation ID created by the app. It does not contain pictures, network packets, IP or multicast addresses, stream names, your license key, your name or your email address, and we do not link it to them.
We use usage data only to decide which features to improve and which problems to fix first. The legal basis is your consent.
9. Support Cases
This section covers support cases for all our products, including the SMPTE 2110 Toolkit and our lighting correction platform. When you contact support, we store your email address, your name if you give it, your description of the problem, a masked form of your license key if one is activated (only its first and last four characters, never the full key), the software version and the attachments you choose to send. For the SMPTE 2110 Toolkit, the app shows each attachment (system information, the last part of the app log, a screenshot and a diagnosis report) and lets you remove any of them. In the log, IP and multicast addresses are masked.
We use this to answer your case and to fix the problem. You can follow and answer the case through a private link we email you, and in the SMPTE 2110 Toolkit app; anyone with that link can read the case, so keep it to yourself.
To suggest solutions before you send a case, and to help us draft replies, the text of your case and any system information or diagnosis you included are sent to Anthropic's Claude API, which processes them on our behalf and does not use them to train its models. A person at LivePictureAI reads and edits every reply before it is sent to you. If a case reveals a bug, we may describe it in our issue tracker on GitHub; your email address, name, license key and attachments are not copied there.
The legal basis is our contract with you and our legitimate interest in providing support. We keep a support case, with its messages and attachments, for 2 years after the case is closed, or 2 years after its last activity if it is never closed, and then delete it automatically. You can ask us to delete yours earlier at any time.
10. SMPTE 2110 Toolkit: AI Diagnosis
The SMPTE 2110 Toolkit app has an AI pane where you can ask questions about your streams and network. To answer, the app sends your question to our license server (license.livepicture.ai), together with the diagnosis report the app prepares and the data the app's tools return while the AI works on your question. If you have turned on masking in the app, IP addresses and labels in the diagnosis report are masked before it is sent. The license server passes this to Anthropic's Claude API, which processes it on our behalf to produce the answers.
We save every question and answer on the license server, conversation by conversation: your question, the diagnosis report, the data the app's tools returned and the AI's answers. Each conversation is linked to your license by a masked form of the license key, the customer name and email address if they are on the license, the app's installation ID and the app version. Images are not stored.
Questions that are rejected or flagged, for example because they look like misuse or an attempt to manipulate the AI (prompt injection), are saved together with the reason. Flagged questions are also emailed to our staff.
Staff at LivePictureAI can read saved conversations to support you and to improve the product. They are stored in Microsoft Azure in the EU (West Europe region), kept for up to 2 years and then deleted automatically. You can delete them earlier with the Delete my data button in the app.
The legal basis is our contract with you and our legitimate interest in providing support and improving the product.
11. SMPTE 2110 Toolkit: Error Logging
The app can also send error logs to help us find and fix problems. This is off unless you turn it on, and you can turn it off again at any time.
If you turn it on, the app sends alarms, lines from the app log, diagnosis summaries, information about the environment the app runs in, and metadata about AI calls together with any feedback you give on AI answers. Error logs are stored on our license server in Microsoft Azure in the EU, kept for 90 days and then deleted automatically. You can delete them earlier with the Delete my data button in the app.
We use error logs to find and fix problems and to improve the product. The legal basis is your consent.
