LivePictureAI is a Swedish company that builds real-time AI to rebalance harsh sunlight and deep shadow on live sports broadcasts, frame by frame, on the camera feeds or on the program output.
Twenty-five years of building technology
Andreas Lännerberg is a Swedish serial entrepreneur with more than 25 years in tech. He began his career at Lundalogik, today Lime Technologies, and went on to found Meetio, which Logitech acquired in 2021.
After two years at Logitech and a stretch of parental leave, he found himself watching a football match on a sunny day: one part of the pitch in bright sunlight, another in deep shadow, players moving between the two and detail disappearing. “Why does live football still have to look like this?”
Once he had gone from “someone should fix this” to “I'm going to fix this”, he started building and testing. That became LivePictureAI, founded in 2025. Read the full story on the About page.
Early career
Lundalogik (today Lime Technologies)
Joined while it was still a growing Swedish software company. Started in support and became Head of IT, seeing first-hand how a small technology company grows into a much larger one. Lime Technologies later became a publicly listed company.
2014
Founded Meetio
Founder and CEO of Meetio, which built software and hardware for the modern workplace and grew internationally.
2021–2023
Meetio acquired by Logitech
Logitech acquired Meetio in 2021 for CHF 32 million, according to MarketScreener. Andreas stayed on for two years after the acquisition before leaving.

2025
Founded LivePictureAI
Founded LivePictureAI in the first quarter of 2025 to solve the lighting problem that live outdoor sports broadcasts have lived with for decades.
What LivePictureAI does
LivePictureAI uses AI to understand and improve the live image in real time: a naturally and consistently lit picture that keeps the players, colors, grass, atmosphere and detail of the original production.
Real-time lighting correction for live football
Rebalances harsh sunlight and deep shadow on a live football feed, frame by frame, so viewers can follow the play across the whole pitch.
Live football →A processing layer for broadcasters and OB
A GPU-based layer on the camera feeds before the vision mixer, or on the program output in smaller productions, handing on an already-corrected, broadcast-grade signal.
For broadcasters & OB →SMPTE 2110 Toolkit
A Windows app that analyzes and generates SMPTE ST 2110 video, audio and ANC streams, with PTP timing diagnostics and an NMOS IS-04/IS-05 controller.
2110 Toolkit →Evaluation on your own footage
See the before and after on live sport, or share a clip affected by sun and shadow and get a sample enhancement back.
See the demo →The 2110 Toolkit is available today from $49 a month, with a 14-day trial. The lighting correction was introduced at IBC 2026, and the first pilots with broadcasters are about to launch.
What makes LivePictureAI different
Low latency: maximum 100 ms of added latency, built to keep pace with live broadcast timing.
Standard transports: SMPTE 2110, NDI, SDI, RTSP and file-based streams, deployed on GPU-based edge or in the production hub.
Two setups: on each camera feed before the vision mixer for large productions, or on the program output after the vision mixer for smaller ones.
No new cameras, lenses or floodlights: keep your existing equipment; processing runs on GPU infrastructure.
Local GPU, AWS and Azure: real-time inference already runs on all three.
Custom model: trained on an initial proprietary dataset, with automatic training.
Live and archive: the platform processes both live streams and video files, including archived matches.
Patent pending: a patent application covers the LivePictureAI technology.
NVIDIA Inception and Microsoft for Startups: LivePictureAI is part of both programs.
IBC 2026: introduced in Amsterdam as part of Tech Ignite.
Who LivePictureAI is for
LivePictureAI is built for the people who produce and own live outdoor sport. Football is the starting point; the same sunlight-and-shadow problem affects baseball, American football, tennis, cricket, rugby and most other outdoor sports.
Broadcasters
Heads of production who want a consistently lit picture on daytime outdoor sport.
For broadcasters →Production companies & OB providers
Broadcast engineers adding a lighting-correction layer to an existing outdoor live-sports pipeline.
Integration details →Clubs & rights holders
Owners of live and archived outdoor sports footage affected by sunlight and shadow, football first.
Live football →Broadcast & IP video engineers
Engineers running SMPTE ST 2110 plants who need to analyze, generate and debug streams on a Windows PC.
2110 Toolkit →The team behind LivePictureAI
An AI-first team based in Sweden, working flexibly and globally.
